The Chapel, decorated in period colors, of rich beige walls and white trim with light oak flooring and pews and just a hint of blue on the altar sets a neutral backdrop that compliments any bride’s color scheme. The pristine settings of Allaire State Park and the Historic Village at Allaire make the perfect setting for wedding photos as well. Costumed interpreters in period dress will be on hand to host your wedding and see to any special needs or requirements you or your guests may have. Our wedding hosts and hostesses are happy to facilitate in decorating, seating your guests, lighting altar candles and, should a minor emergency arise, provide any necessary assistance you or your guests may need.
Due to the popularity of the Chapel in the Historic Village at Allaire as a wedding chapel, it is recommended you make your reservation at least one year in advance. Reservations are taken in January for the following year and are not considered confirmed until payment in full has been received by Allaire Village, Inc. and the signed contracts have been forwarded to you. The Chapel, which is climate controlled, is available for Weddings, Christenings and Baptisms, Memorial Services and Church Services. FAQ's ● What is the schedule of available times? Due to the popularity of the Historic Chapel as a wedding chapel, Allaire Village, Inc. will be changing the availability begining in the 2007 Season to accomodate as many wedding parties as possible. The time slots will be one and one half hours, however the chapel will be available from 10 am - 11:30 am; 12 pm - 1:30 pm; ● What is the maximum capacity? The Chapel seats a maximum of 100 people. ● Are there banquet facilities available at the Historic Village at Allaire? Banquet facilities are not available on site. State Park rules require no alcoholic beverages. ● Does the Historic Village at Allaire provide a minister? The Historic Village does not have a resident minister, you may use your own minister, or we will provide a list of ministers for your convenience. ● Does the Historic Village at Allaire provide musicians? No, but a list of musicians is available upon request. ● May I bring in a florist to decorate the Chapel? Yes. We recommend you schedule your actual ceremony one half hour after the beginning of your scheduled time in order to give your florist the opportunity to decorate. We also ask that no materials be used in decorating which will damage the Chapel fixtures. ● When may I see the Chapel? You can see the Chapel by making an appointment with the Historic Village at Allaire Wedding Planner or you may view the Chapel through the glass doors any time Allaire State Park is open. N.B. Your reservation is not confirmed until your payment has been received and signed contracts are sent to you. The Historic Village at Allaire periodically hosts Special Events. An event that may occur on the weekend of your Service. Several Special Events include programs in the Chapel as part of the event. Please check the calendar for upcoming events. Horse and carriage are available for your wedding, for an extra fee. **Note 4pm - 5:30 pm not available when park closes at 4:30 pm.
