headlights Allaire Village, Inc. will host one of our most popular fundraising events of the season, the Rolling Iron Auto Show, open to all vehicles manufactured up to 1982. The show, which has gained in popularity since its beginnings, features over 350 classic, antique and custom cars.

The first 200 vehicles to register will receive a special Rolling Iron Auto Show dash plaque and pre-registration is available. Owners can register their vehicles in one of any number of different categories including by year, modified, modified truck, street rod and foreign.

There are a total of 40 unique trophies awarded, including People's Choice awards in numerous categories including Foreign, Custom, Modified, Trucks, Year and Motorcycles. There are also special awards presented by the Historic Village at Allaire Guilds and Directors. Three special Best of Show trophies sponsored by Ocean First Bank of Wall, Kelle Chevrolet of Farmingdale and Connelly, Campion & Wright of Belmar, will go to the vehicles with the most People's Choice votes.

edselgrillThe show will take place in the Allaire State Park parking lot next to the Pine Creek Railroad. Show vehicles are issued a special parking permit. The show area boasts plenty of shade and grass and a paved macadam surface to help keep all vehicles dust free. No show would be complete without a hot dog from John and Debbie O who will be at here selling hot dogs, hamburgers, French fries, cheese steaks, Italian ice, sodas, funnel cakes and much more.

This family event offers more than just great automobiles. Spectators and exhibitors to the Rolling Iron Auto Show, which has become one of the premiere shows of the Jersey Shore, are encouraged to take advantage of all that Allaire State Park and the Historic Village at Allaire has to offer. There are picnic areas and hiking trails within the State Park as well as nearby camping facilities and a fishing pond for children. Visitors will also want to visit The Historic Village at Allaire, a restored 1830s iron manufacturing community, where authentically clad museum interpreters and craft demonstrators such as carpenters and blacksmiths present the story of the Howell Works Company buildings and the people who lived and worked here 170 years ago. There is a working Carpenter Shop, Tin Smith Shop and Blacksmith Shop, as well as a 19th Century General Store and Bakery. The Historic Village at Allaire is listed on the New Jersey and National Register of Historic Places. The proceeds from the Rolling Iron Auto Show help Allaire Village, Inc., a non-profit organization, subsidize the educational and historic programs at the Historic Village at Allaire.
